Hatha and Vinyasa
Hatha yoga aims to calm the mind and body in preparation for meditation. Alice is experienced in guided meditations, bringing the physical and spiritual body into balance, tackling the day to day difficulties in our lives and creating space for dealing with these in a healthier way.
Vinyasa classes are more dynamic, focusing on breath work, linking asanas and incorporating sun salutations to awaken the mind and body. If you like a flow then this is a class for you. Vinyasa classes demonstrate a range of postures where no two classes are alike. A very popular class aiming to improve focus, balance and being in the present moment – perfect for the wondering minds of today.
Alice completed advanced training in Restorative yoga after noticing the unbelievable benefits not just for reducing stress, depression and anxiety but also a fantastic way in managing long term pain. Using bolsters, blankets and blocks this class is more about relaxing the body, calming down the nervous system, and giving the body a chance to heal.
Completing her advanced training in Aerial yoga last year in Thailand, Alice offers Aerial Vinyasa and Aerial Restorative classes. Originating in New York but now widely popular all over Asia, this class is a must!
Supported safely by a hammock, the benefits are endless with this highly fun and calming practice. As the spine is able to lengthen and is decompressed by the support of the hammock health, benefits range from healing back problems, releasing tension, strengthening muscles, improving flexibility, calming the mind – the list could just go on.
